Years ago, I signed a major label deal with Interscope via Jimmy Iovine and Larry Jackson in their final years there. Shortly thereafter I began work on my first record, engaged Jordan Feldstein at CAM as my manager and joined Maroon 5 as their support act on their arena tour around Europe. As the tour wrapped, Jimmy and Larry left the Interscope to spearhead Apple Music’s burgeoning service, Jordan passed away and I retuned to England. After spearheading the corporate restructure of my parents’ family business for the best part of two years, the pandemic struck. The time in lockdown allowed me to regroup, and re-establish plans for my own career in the music industry. To that end, my re-entry into that world begins with the relaunch of my YouTube channel. With millions of views and tens of thousands of subscribers, even in its dormant years, the channel serves as the perfect platform to begin the next steps of this journey. I have been quietly creating content and branding sections of the channel to not only elevate the live music output that got me noticed in the first place, but to broaden its scope to the worlds of lifestyle, wellness, fitness, pop culture, reviews etc. With the landscape of YouTube having changed so much in my time away, and the new control and autonomy it provides, I’m hopeful I can reconnect with my subscriber base, grow it exponentially, pick up where I left off, and maybe even make lightening strike twice.
